Overlay Maps on eXplorist

Post by flywire »

How do you make overlay maps on the eXplorist 610?

I renamed the *.imi files to *.poi but they do not show the *.rmp files beneath them. I am using MMO 1.0/2.7 maps.

Hi,

the functionality to display the RMP maps below the vector maps is driven by the Global Weights setting for each layer and a special map-type information file.
MMO does not provide this information to the maps. You need to de-compile the maps, add this setting and compile the map again.

I assume first or second number on layer line before group number.

I assume cvg_map but don't understand contents.

I assume cvg_map but don't understand contents.
I think, this is not a secret.
MAP_TYPE=TNDB_BASE_MAP for basemaps (.mgi)
MAP_TYPE = TNDB_DETAILED_MAP for detail maps (.imi)
MAP_TYPE = TNDB_POI_MAP for overlay poi maps (.poi)
MAP_TYPE=TNDB_LIGHT_MAP this was written at .tpo maps
MAP_TYPE = TNDB_RASTER_MAP raster maps (.rmp)
